This long cardigan is made of handwoven 100% cotton called Samping Carang, a traditional weaving originally produced for headwear only for the men of Baduy while planting rice and preforming their belief's rituals, praying for good crop. It is very lightweight and soft to the skin. The collar is combined with another handweaving also from Baduy, called Suat Tajur Pinang, a modern motif which I designed myself. This can also be worn like a kimono with an obi belt.
